BGMI Banned Again in India? Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), the most popular mobile game in India, has been removed from Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Currently, game search results on both app stores show other games. BGMI came after the central government banned PUBG for privacy reasons. PUBG is a hugely popular mobile shooter game in this country.
On 28th July 2022, Many Twitter users have claimed that Battlegrounds Mobile India has been banned by the central government. But the good part is Krafton, the South Korean game developer or the govt. has not confirmed that the BGMI has been banned in the country.
Krafton Inc is also the developer of PUBG. Since the game was released in China by Tencent in India, it has been banned by the government.

Why is BGMI banned in India?
A Google spokesperson confirmed that the google was asked to take down the BGMI Game. There is no clear reason behind BGMI’s ban in India, but it does appear to be related to a recent alleged murder on PUBG. According to a recent report, a 16-year-old boy shot and killed his mother during a controversy over online games like PUBG. Indian law enforcement is investigating the incident.

Is BGMI still available to play?
BGMI works fine and is available to people who already have the game installed on their devices. The servers don’t seem to be offline and there are no warning messages in the app.
